What's the difference between the P3-120X and P3-180X?
The 120X is medium-class for tight rights-of-way (5,800 lbs, 1.2 yrd² screening, 1.8–2.0 yrd³). The 180X is heavy-class for large-diameter and mainline (6,800 lbs, 2.0 yrd² screening, 2.8–3.0 yrd³). Both run the Smart Valve System.
What is the Smart Valve System?
A purpose-engineered hydraulic management system that absorbs pressure spikes before they reach your machine's circuits and manages flow to prevent the spike loads that destroy drive components. Standard on every model.
Will a Cobra bucket fit my excavator?
Both models are built for the 50–60 gpm range at 3.5K–4K psi. Tell us your machine and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.
What soil types can it handle?
Hard caliche and rocky clay, abrasive desert sands, wet gumbo, sharp shale, frozen till, and glacial boulders. See the Soil & Region Guide for state-by-state detail.
How much can it actually save me?
Operators conservatively estimate $40,000+ annual cost avoidance per machine versus budget-grade alternatives. Actual results vary by soil, application, and hours.
